The materials used have all been chosen to give a perfect balance for maximum durability and yet making it a portable system. All the visual elements comply with international standards and reflective material is also used to add maximum visibility under poor lightning conditions.
Electrical systems
The trailer has an “External Power Input” socket to recharge the on-board battery, as well as the batteries or the warning lights. When the rear lid of the trailer is opened, the blue lights mounted onto the two halves of the lid, start to flash. The extension leads can be plugged into the two “Generator output (220 VAC)” sockets to supply power for the two floodlights.
The nose cone contains a 2.1 KVA generator. An electrical DB box is included with an earth leakage safety trip switch. Two trip switched prevents short circuits. An hour meter is provided to monitor intervals between servicing the generator.
