The road block trailer for the Veterinary Services of the Republic of South Africa is equipped with all the components necessary to conduct a full, legal and safe roadblock on a dual carriage way. Supplementary to these equipment is also a disinfectant puddle/dam for the vehicles to drive through to disinfect them and thus further curb the spread of harmful diseases.

These units comes in handy whenever there is an outbreak of a disease on a farm. There are two 500 liter tanks on the trailer. The red one for chemicals/disinfectant mixed with water and the blue tank is for drinking water. The water from the blue tank can be pumped to the red one if more disinfectant needs to be mixed. The high pressure pump with two reels ensures that the infected areas can be cleaned thoroughly. With these units the disease can be eliminated and ensure that there is no spread to neighboring farms. The pump can be used to pump water from a lower source into the tanks.
