Solar Powered Traffic Lights with Fixed Base

When deployed the traffic light is 2.5 meter from the ground ensuring that the oncoming traffic can easily see the unit.

These units completely collapse so that it’s only 1.2m high. The base is 1m by 1m which ensures that it is very stable when deployed but still not too big when transported. The battery is installed in the lockable steel container at the bottom ensuring that the unit is stable when deployed.

When dismantled /collapsed the components fit neatly into the base to ensure that the unit is neatly packed away.

The cycling between the red and Green light can be done either automatically, with a remote or with a manual switch.

All the electronic components are neatly installed in water proof enclosures to ensure that the unit can function even in heavy rain.

The solar system is designed so that the unit can be operated 24 hour a day.
